Yaletown Massage Therapy is an established clinic in the heart of the Yaletown neighborhood, providing registered massage therapy since 1999. We are a group of RMT’s who believe in a holistic approach and the importance of effective, responsible healthcare. We all share similarities in our approach to assessment, treatment and homecare exercises, but we each also bring our own unique point of view and experiences to the massage therapy table. The techniques we most commonly use are myofascial release, trigger point release, active and passive stretching, and unwinding to encourage recovery from injury, daily stresses from poor posture and computer related aches or general overuse. Using these techniques lead to positive and long lasting results. Other, more specific techniques that we provide are craniosacral and visceral manipulation to also aid in healing and overall well being. There are many instances where by the RMT may use either of these techniques to further encourage natural healing at a deeper level without the application of deep pressure. We are available through the week from Monday to Sunday and we encourage patients to book ahead for their appointments either online or by calling in.
